We (our racing family)really enjoyed and appreciated your article. We have been racing for about two years now too, and we found that you really described a typical racing day well. It really is a unique experience which " you have to be there" to appreciate. We also appreciated your comments about the bike prize as we were the family that won. It is good to feel that people can rejoice with us about our good fortune and not resent it. I like to feel that that is part of the spirit of our racing community!! Well written!

Hello there! I stumbled upon your write up about the race, and found it entertaining. as the organizer I am glad to hear you had a good time. I always enjoy different participants perspective on all aspects of the races we put on, which your article provided. Maybe you should consider taking on one of the director at large positions on the board, and take on the responsibility of writing a regular article for the newsletter, and insuring the newsletter actually gets out there and serves it purpose! The MCA is always in need of people who have motivation to try and make a little difference in the local cycling community. Are you one of those people? Think about it. Either way I look forward to seeing you guys out next year! Thanks for participating, Dave.

Hello,

You platform pedal old-school Freak! Let me give you some feedback ;)

1. Drop the low fat before the race, as you need the fats to burn during the race.
2. Plate form pedals are cool, but suck on climbs. You would never walk again if you went clip-less :) mmmmm have I said this before?
3. Thanks for the interesting article.
4. Ride On.

I enjoyed reading your Fall Classic experience. I unfortunately didn't make there because of my asthma (It's that time of year).

Earthly fixtures, such as the bike and trumpet, are but a muse to the spirits. Heavenly objects, such as the trombone and sackbut, have a place among the great beings of the universe. Love your site. Keep up the good work.

Wacky wigged out mountain bikers.... I ride a celeste coloured Bianchi road machine myself. I guess I'm a prissy tubular ridin' kinda guy. My machine sports a double butted Columbus frame with Campy droputs, and a mix of Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Vittorio, and Super record components. As for your trumpet playing activities..well....so sorry for you. Trombone's where it's at, man. It takes REAL lung capacity to play a BIG horn. Keep up the good work on your web site. It was an enjoyable visit.
